Zinc-Aluminum-Magnesium (ZAM) coated steel is an advanced coated steel product with a blend of zinc (Zn), aluminum (Al), and magnesium (Mg) that provides superior corrosion resistance compared to traditional galvanized steel. The unique combination of these elements forms a protective barrier that self-heals when damaged, offering enhanced longevity and durability in harsh environments. ZAM coatings typically contain around 90% zinc, 6% aluminum, and 3% magnesium.
