Electrolytic Tin Free Steel (TFS)

END USAGE:

Food and Beverage Containers: TFS is widely used for making cans and containers for food and beverages due to its excellent corrosion resistance and ability to preserve the contents without reacting with them.

Electronics and Appliances: Used in the manufacturing of components for electronics and household appliances, such as back covers and battery cases, because of its good formability and surface quality.

Automotive Industry: Employed in the production of various automotive parts where durability and corrosion resistance are essential.

Construction Materials: Used for roofing, siding, and other building materials where a durable and corrosion-resistant material is needed.

Packaging: Applied in packaging materials that require a high degree of protection against corrosion and contamination.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Electrolytic Tin Free Steel (TFS), also known as Electrolytic Chromium Coated Steel (ECCS), is a type of steel that is coated with a thin layer of chromium and chromium oxide through an electrolytic process. This coating provides the steel with excellent corrosion resistance, a superior surface finish, and good paint adhesion properties, without using tin. The steel used is typically low-carbon cold-rolled steel, ensuring a smooth and uniform surface.
