The use of steel billet

Billet (Hot Rolled Steel Billet) is a semi-finished steel product that is produced through the process of hot rolling. It is typically square in cross-section and has a length that is much greater than its width. Billets are a critical intermediate material in steel manufacturing, serving as the starting point for producing a wide range of finished steel products. They are created by continuously casting steel into long rectangular shapes, which are then cut into manageable lengths.
