Aluminized silicon steel is primarily used in high-temperature and heat-resistant scenarios. It is mainly applied in automotive exhaust systems, engine heat shields, fuel tanks, and high-temperature appliances such as baking trays, ovens, microwaves, toasters, water heaters, coffee makers, and rice cookers. High-temperature medium pipe protection covers are also made using aluminized silicon steel.

Aluminized steel with silicon, also known as Type 1 aluminized steel, is produced by hot-dipping steel in an aluminum-silicon alloy. The silicon content enhances the adhesion of the aluminum layer, providing better durability and workability.
